In 1989, at the age of ten, Sachin and Avni watched a televised documentary entitled “A Gift of Walking” which demonstrated the miraculous effects of a simple prosthetic device known as the Jaipur Foot, an artificial limb project undertaken by the Rotrary Club of Nairobi South. The project made a tremendous impact on Sachin and we wanted to assist physically challenged children through his project which inspired their first musical album.
